Productboard in 2021: Another great year of building

The Productboard journey began nearly seven years ago, with a simple, yet important mission: help every company build products that matter. 

That mission is as strong today as it was when we onboarded our very first customer and shipped the first version of the Productboard platform. As we close out another successful year and look forward to taking a well-deserved break for the holidays, we wanted to take a moment to reflect and thank all of our customers and partners who have helped us get here.

 

 

In the last year alone, it’s been deeply inspiring to see Productboard customers like Zoom, Envoy, Netflix, Epic Games, Disney, 1-800 Contacts, and ResMed continue to innovate and build products that support people across the globe to live more productive, happier lives.

We’ve seen Zoom make it easier for everyone to feel connected, even when working from home. 

Our customer Envoy has helped companies ensure the safety of their employees as they slowly return to the office. 

Entertainment companies like Netflix, Disney, and Epic Games have been able to provide much-needed entertainment, creative storytelling, and a much-needed break from reality during a challenging few years of living through the pandemic. 

On the health and wellness front, our customer 1-800-Contacts has made it possible to get an eye exam at home when doctors’ offices were closed, and ResMed has used Productboard to build Covid respirators that have saved thousands of lives. 

The products our customers have created on the Productboard platform have had an extraordinary impact on the world and all of us at the company are grateful to be on this journey where our priority is connecting product teams to the right vision and tools to build the world’s best products for everyone, everywhere. 

Productboard couldn’t be better positioned for the future. We are continuing to see immense growth, partnering with leading companies like Microsoft, Salesforce, and more to help teams better integrate and collaborate. In 2021, we launched a new community called Product Makers — a space to connect the best and brightest in product management, raised a successful Series C, were featured on the Forbes Next-Billion Dollar Startups List, hosted our second annual Product Excellence Summit with more than 5,000 virtual attendees, hit 5,000+ customers, and opened new offices in Vancouver and the Czech Republic. As in-person events returned, our Founder & CEO, Hubert Palan shared our vision for the future of product management on global stages at numerous events, including Web Summit and Collision.

We’re closing out the year on a high note with over 350+ employees, and are seeking more great makers and doers to join our team of product dreamers and visionaries.
