Introducing Customer-Centric APIs: Now Generally Available
Since our founding, Productboard has helped product organizations prioritize customer insights to build products that matter for their customers, faster. With our native integrations with common customer feedback channels such as Slack and Zendesk, we’ve allowed you to consolidate customer insights into a single source of truth for prioritization. Once these insights have been used to help prioritize features, our native integrations make it easy to push these prioritized features into delivery tools such as Jira and Azure DevOps. But these days our customers are looking for even more ways to leverage this rich data in our platform for custom reporting, workflow automation, and more.
That’s why we’re excited to announce that our Customer-Centric APIs are now generally available. With this launch, customers are able to build on four of our enhanced APIs: Notes API, Features API, Companies API, and Users API.
With these APIs, our customers can now pull, link, and push Notes, Companies, Users, and Features data with greater ease and integrate with their own tools faster. Example use cases include:
- Direct Data Export: Get the notes, companies, users, and features you need quickly in and out of Productboard.
- Feature Requests & Feedback Reporting: Associate notes with features and importance scores for clear insights and reporting.
- Automated Management of Customers: Add and change company data directly through our APIs to improve workflow automation
- Better Reports, Less Hassle: Build data integrations supporting your organization’s BI needs

Our Customer-Centric APIs are available to Productboard customers on the Pro plan and above. To get started, workspace admins can generate a developer token from the Integrations page in workspace settings and refer to our brand new developer portal.
