Tap into product & business context in the docs your team already wrote

Search across product docs, business strategy, personas, and planning docs in Notion using natural-language prompts.

Overview

The Notion MCP connector lets Spark search and query your Notion workspace through conversation. Ask what your team has already documented while you're planning, and the answer comes from live pages in Notion. Each user connects their own Notion account, and Spark sees only what that account can see.

To attach specific Notion pages as context in a chat, see the Notion file attachment integration for Spark.

Search PRDs, specs, and documentation

Ask Spark to find the pages that bear on what you're working on — the PRDs related to a feature, or what the go-to-market strategy says about pricing. Answers come from live pages in your Notion workspace.

Turn specs into Notion tasks

Have Spark turn a product spec into concrete tasks in Notion, in the same conversation where you worked the spec out. What you decide in Spark lands back in the workspace your team plans from.

Setup

Any Spark user can connect Notion. No admin setup is required in Productboard.

  1. From any Spark chat, select the Integrations & Connectors icon beneath the prompt input field.
  2. Select + Add integrations & connectors and open the MCP Connectors tab.
  3. Click Connect next to Notion, then complete the sign-in on Notion's page and authorize access. You'll return to Productboard with the connection active in every Spark chat.
