Turn a spec into a working prototype in the same conversation

Ask Spark to check, build, or iterate on Lovable projects, and see how they're used.

Overview

The Lovable MCP connector lets Spark reach into your Lovable workspace through conversation. Ask what a prototype currently contains, what changed in the last iteration, or how it is being used, and the answer comes from live data in Lovable. Each user connects their own Lovable account, and Spark sees only the projects that account can access.

To let Lovable read your Productboard specs while prototyping, see the Productboard custom connector for Lovable.

Check in on a prototype without leaving Spark

Ask Spark what a project currently looks like: which pages exist, what the agent changed recently, or where a feature stands. Spark pulls this from live project and message data in Lovable, so you get an answer in the same conversation where you're discussing the feature.

Spin up or iterate on a prototype from the spec

Once you've written or discussed a spec in Spark, ask it to turn that idea into a working prototype or remix an existing project to test a variation. Spark sends the request to Lovable's in-product agent, so the build happens in Lovable while the conversation stays in Productboard.

Review how a prototype is performing

Ask Spark for a prototype's analytics or how usage is trending. That gives you a read on usage before you commit engineering time to a feature.

Setup

Any Spark user can connect Lovable. No admin setup is required in Productboard.

From any Spark chat, open the connectors modal, click Connect next to Lovable, then complete the sign-in on Lovable's page and authorize access. You'll return to Productboard with the connection active in every Spark chat.
