As a Program Manager at Productboard, you will:

  • Orchestrate Strategic Initiatives: Lead cross-functional programs from conception to completion, ensuring alignment with our strategic goals and delivery on time, within scope, and budget. Your vision and leadership will drive the successful execution of initiatives that are central to our company's success.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with Product Managers, Engineers, Designers, and other stakeholders to define program objectives, develop project plans, and help manage resource allocation. Your ability to foster collaboration will ensure seamless integration and cooperation across all departments.
  • Drive Process Excellence: Implement and optimize program management processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Your expertise in best practices will enhance our program management capabilities and ensure consistent delivery of high-quality results.
  • Mitigate Risks and Resolve Issues: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to address them proactively. Your problem-solving skills will enable you to navigate challenges and ensure programs stay on track, adapting to changes as needed.
  • Communicate with Clarity: Provide regular updates to senior leadership and stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment. Your communication skills will ensure that everyone is informed and engaged throughout the programs lifecycle.

Key Skills and Responsibilities for a Program Manager at ProductBoard

  1. Strategic Planning:
    • Develop comprehensive plans for major initiatives that align with company objectives and strategic goals.
    • Collaborate with our teams to define scope, deliverables, and success criteria, ensuring clear and measurable outcomes.
  2. Cross-Functional Leadership:
    • Lead and coordinate efforts across various teams, including product, engineering, design, marketing, and sales.

    • Optimize resource utilization to achieve program objectives efficiently.
  7. Continuous Improvement:
    • Promote a culture of continuous improvement by identifying and implementing needed changes.
    • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to drive excellence.
