Check how a feature is landing before you plan the next one

Overview

The Pendo MCP connector lets Spark query your product data in Pendo through conversation. Ask about feature adoption and usage trends, or check what guides, polls, and sentiment surveys say about how customers experience your product. Each user connects their own Pendo account, and Spark sees only what that account can see.

Ask analytics questions in plain language

Ask Spark which features are most used, how adoption is trending for a new reporting feature, or which pages have the highest engagement this month. Answers come from live Pendo data covering pages, features, funnels, retention, and engagement scoring.

Check what your guides and surveys are telling you

Ask Spark how a guide is performing, what a poll returned, or where your NPS and CSAT scores stand. Reading in-app engagement alongside adoption numbers gives you a fuller picture of how a feature is landing.

Scoped to your Pendo permissions

Spark inherits your existing access level in Pendo and gains no new permissions. It can reach only the visitors, accounts, and reports your Pendo account can already open.

Setup

Any Spark user can connect Pendo. A Pendo subscription admin controls MCP access under Settings → Subscription settings → AI access, where read-only and write tools are toggled separately and read-only must be on before write.

From any Spark chat, open the connectors modal, click Connect next to Pendo, then complete the sign-in on Pendo's page and authorize access. You'll return to Productboard with the connection active in every Spark chat.
