Senior Product Manager - AI Products

San Francisco

About the role

At Productboard, we fundamentally believe that the world's best products are created by product makers who possess an exceptionally deep understanding of their customers' needs. Whether they are Product Managers, Designers, or Engineers, the brightest minds behind the most successful and beloved products are those who truly embody their customers.

That’s why we have designed our Product Management Platform with a strong focus on customer needs and market insights. We’ve developed a unique set of capabilities to extract key customer insights, guiding product prioritization and shaping the product roadmap.

As we continue to evolve our platform, leveraging AI and ML has become a strategic priority. These technologies enable deeper insights and automation, helping our customers drive innovation and boost productivity.

We’re hiring a Senior Product Manager to lead the development of Productboard’s AI-powered experience and the next generation of product analytics and reporting.

This role is at the center of our AI transformation — combining product vision, execution, and commercial ownership. You’ll define how modern product teams engage with customer feedback and measure product performance, while building agent-powered workflows that surface insights, inform decisions, and drive impact.

You won’t just be building features — you’ll own the success of your product. That includes partnering with go-to-market teams, leading product launches, and driving adoption to ensure we deliver business outcomes at scale.

Your responsibilities

  • Define end-to-end agentic experiences, helping product teams understand and act on feedback at scale
  • Lead the evolution of Pulse, our AI-powered customer insights engine, into a proactive, intelligence-driven product area
  • Own the strategy and execution for AI-powered reporting and analytics that deliver insights across the product lifecycle
  • Build and refine agentic workflows that automate common PM tasks and deliver contextual recommendations through intuitive UI
  • Partner with design and engineering to ship world-class, AI-native product experiences
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, sales, and customer success to launch and scale your product in the market
  • Drive adoption, collect feedback, iterate on key workflows, and ensure commercial success
  • Align cross-functional stakeholders around your product strategy and roadmap
  • Evangelize newest trends, and best practices of building AI products while staying up to date with industry trends, competition, and best practices.

About you

  • 6+ years of product management experience, with at least 2 years in AI, machine learning, or data-centric product areas
  • Experience shipping products related to customer insights, reporting, analytics, or workflow automation
  • Strong product sense and the ability to turn ambiguous customer problems into elegant solutions
  • Proven ability to launch new products and drive GTM execution in partnership with sales, marketing, and success
  • Experience building 0→1 products and navigating ambiguity with confidence
  • Familiarity with agentic workflows or a strong interest in applying agent-based product design
  • Excellent communication skills; you bring teams together and clearly articulate vision, strategy, and value
  • High agency, business-oriented mindset, and a strong sense of ownership over both product quality and outcomes
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex findings clearly to diverse audiences, including senior executives internally and externally.
