Technical Program Manager

 Who are we looking for!

As the Technical Program Manager, you will lead team collaboration and deftly identify plan requirements, dependencies and risks, resolve blockers, track and report progress, and leverage best practices to ensure predictable and timely delivery of our marketing website projects. You will be partnering and collaborating with all marketing stakeholders, web engineers, and product manager counterparts. The candidate must have a solid track record of driving complex programs with multiple stakeholders, and enough technical acumen to make updates to the website

This position reports into the Director, Digital Marketing.

  • Drive strategic cross-functional planning, leading discovery and prioritization by closely partnering with marketing stakeholders, engineering leads, and product managers to develop a roadmap, dependencies, and resourcing for all marketing team website projects/requests.
  • Liaison between marketing team and web engineering team.
  • Produce project briefs based on marketing team requests that clarify requirements and priority levels. Then collaborate with product managers and web engineers to ensure quick delivery and readiness. 
  • Basic programming experience for implementing low code updates to the website for the marketing team.
  • Create new landing pages and update pages using existing web components.
  • Implement (or manage implementation) of tracking codes and scripts connecting web to marketing technology and other programs
  • Lead meetings with key stakeholders for each project to help make key decisions, remove obstacles, and address program issues.
  • Communicate project status to stakeholders and various teams around the organization.
  • Escalate urgent issues appropriately and drive them to closure in a timely manner.
  • Create and manage the marketing website backlog and prioritization process.
  • Provide input on website best practices and help the team innovate
  • Develop efficient, transparent, and fast deployment processes.

This is how we dream about you

  • 3+ years as a technical program manager, product manager, operational role, or related field
  • BA/BS degree in computer science, or a related technical field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Track record of partnering with engineering or business to define scope and requirements
  • Must demonstrate a sense of urgency and ownership to drive solutions and tasks to completion
  • Experience communicating and translating non-technical to technical (and vice versa) requirements and discussions.
  • Possess a strong work ethic and be able to make strong contributions independently while also leading team efforts
  • Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with WordPress
  • Tag management knowledge for marketing, website, or in-app tags/pixels

    • Comfortable interacting with a diverse set of technical and non-technical counterparts
    • Knowledge of Google Tag Manager, Segment, Google Analytics, or Google Optimize are a plus
    • Know when to push back, challenge an idea, and seek out compromise, and do so positively and for the benefit of the company in the interest of getting value to market quickly
