Someone who gets excited about creating elegant purpose-driven designs that can help our users interpret all the data signals headed their way.

About our team

To help us with this mission, we’re looking for a driven, inventive senior product designer to join our in-product reporting team. You'll be focused on helping customers make sense of all the data and trends we track in our product.

What you’ll do in a typical week

  • Work closely in a cross-functional team to ensure our in-product reporting is beautifully and simply presented and supports our customers in their decision making
  • Lead the discovery and design activities of features that help our customers get a better grasp of their data, joining forces with a product manager and a tech lead to understand customer needs and shape solutions.
  • Design, prototype, and document smart new data visualization patterns
  • Work with designers and engineers to evolve said visualization patterns, giving and receiving feedback in design critiques and conversations
  • Pair-design with designers from different teams to improve each other’s work
  • Evaluate what you've shipped, and continuously drive improvements
  • Collaborate with our UX writer to uphold our product’s voice, and evolve content guidelines for reporting and presenting data
  • Participate in wider design team initiatives (workshopping, expanding the design system, improving tooling, mentoring designers, hiring)

About you

  • You’ve designed a lot of UIs, have a deep knowledge of interaction patterns, and can deliver high-quality work
  • You’ve worked on data visualizations in products before, or have plenty of practice with metrics and product analytics, including making sense of them
  • You’re a systemic thinker who can turn complex design problems into intuitive user experiences
  • You communicate clearly and build relationships easily
  • You don’t hesitate to own and drive projects, and comment on processes
  • You seek feedback to grow and give feedback candidly and with empathy in turn
  • You can come to our London or Prague office at least twice a week. (If you’re currently far from both, we can help you move closer.)

  • Knowing that Tufte, Bertin or Cairo aren’t foreign cities. (No need to agree with all they said and wrote, though.)
  • Experience in a B2B SaaS organization with a mature product design practice
