As an Engineering Manager, you will have an opportunity to build a new Growth team from scratch and lead it to change the growth trajectory of our business.

The topics that you will work on will have an outsized impact on the success of Productboard. Productboard will trust you and your team with data-driven experimentation to create a customer-centric onboarding and effective monetization model.

On a typical day, you will...

  • Lead a team of five growth engineers to deliver value (aka features) to our exciting portfolio of customers including UIPath, Zoom, Avast, and Electronic Arts.
  • Coach and mentor your engineers, helping them to become the best version of themselves.
  • Maintain a healthy, collaborative culture in line with the company values as we navigate through hyper-growth
  • Define and improve team processes and ceremonies. All in the name of removing any blockers, enabling the team to focus on what's important
  • Define the strategy for the team and set the long-term objectives and goals in cooperation with your team’s Product Manager
  • Participate in conducting user research, analyzing and presenting the findings
  • Team up with your Product Manager and Product Designer to evangelize the importance of Growth work and the best practices both in and outside of the company.
  • Communicate growth insights and progress to cross-functional stakeholders.

We do not expect you to be the strongest engineer on the team, however, you need to have the relevant technical knowledge to understand the team's domain. Your main focus is to have a multiplying effect on the team's output. About You

  • You can come to our Prague office at least twice a week. (If you’re currently far from Prague, we can help you move closer.)
  • You have a strong technical background, ideally building complex B2B SaaS products
  • You have built and led highly-functional engineering teams
  • You are an excellent communicator who is confident in collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders (Executives, Finance, Marketing, Sales, etc.)
  • You are confident in interpreting and analyzing data to improve teams’ decision-making
  • You can align people behind a common goal and explain complex topics in simple terms
  • You have a high level of empathy and enjoy working with people
  • You are passionate about topics such as Product-led Growth, Onboarding, or Monetization
