Senior Accounting Manager


We are looking for a senior Accounting Manager who is extensively experienced in managing a team, has a can-do attitude, and can adapt to changes quickly in a growing startup environment. You will be leading a team of dedicated individuals who are passionate about numbers, working to eliminate the inefficiencies surrounding the manual processes. You will report to the Global Corporate Controller in the US and collaborate with other functions within the organization on different workstreams. 

On a typical day, you will…

  • Lead the month-end close process for multiple entities to ensure books are properly closed by the deadlines.
  • Detailed review of all reconciliations and workpapers as part of the financial statement close process (FSCP).
  • Direct the day-to-day accounting operations including billing, A/R, A/P, and G/L
  • Develop and implement global and scalable standard operating procedures to support global accounting operations, business growth, and operational consistency across entities.
  • Assist with reconciliation of intercompany balances on a monthly basis.
  • Analyze the monthly financial statements on a trial balance level and partner closely with the Strategic Finance team to investigate significant variances.
  • Supervise, provide guidance, and mentor senior/staff accountants on the team.
  • Communicate issues, recommendations, project status and other applicable information to management.
  • Complete special projects or tasks as assigned by management.
  • Generate any ad-hoc reporting and/or analysis requested by management.
  • Work closely with management and the auditors to provide timely response to any requests for the group audit and local statutory audits 
  • Support the overall finance operations including both internal and external reporting requirements as needed.

About you

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 12+ years of experience in an accounting role and 8+ years of manager responsibilities, ideally in a high-growth environment 
  • A mixture of public accounting (big 4 audit is a big plus) and industry experience is highly desirable
  • Tech experience is a big plus
  • Experience with Oracle Netsuite, Stripe, and FloQast is a plus
  • Accredited accounting certification is a plus (US / International)
  • Must be very strong with Excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
