Eye-opening insights from 700+ product managers & leaders.
We are delighted to announce new additions to our product, customer base, and leadership team, as well as a refresh of our brand!
This week, we are hosting our 2020 Product Excellence Summit – a virtual event featuring a panel of product thought leaders and a global audience of 3000+ product professionals. Besides kicking off the very first conference in Productboard history, we have some other exciting milestones to celebrate as well.
On the product side, we are announcing a series of new features designed to help companies of all sizes understand what their customers need and get excellent products to market, faster.
Productboard allows companies to capture and analyze feedback across numerous channels and then translate these insights into a clear product strategy that aligns with company objectives. To make this process even more powerful, we are introducing several new capabilities, including:
These new additions come at a time when product teams are facing significant challenges. According to our survey of over 700 product managers and executives, only one in ten companies succeed in capturing customer feedback from all available sources, with nearly a third lack any process whatsoever for capturing feedback. Additionally, half of all product teams don’t feel their roadmap reflects customer needs or strategy.
Productboard’s new capabilities represent the latest step forward in helping companies to overcome these challenges, allowing them to define a clear product strategy, capture and consolidate feedback, and align the entire organization around the product roadmap. Ultimately, this helps companies build the right products and features – and faster.
“Product-led companies already think and act differently on a fundamental level, but an intimate understanding of your customer needs is critical before you make decisions about your product strategy. Customer expectations of digital experiences have never been higher, and ultimately, the ability to create customer-centric products will separate the winners from the losers.”
Productboard now helps 120,000 users from over 3000 companies worldwide, including Microsoft, Zendesk, and UiPath. We are delighted to announce the addition of several high-profile names to this list, including 1-800 Contacts, Procurify, and World Vision.
Our growing customer base reflects the increasing importance that companies are placing on product management. In a rapidly changing world where competition is fiercer than ever, it has never been more critical to build products that customers need and love.
“Product management is increasingly becoming a central, revenue-generating function for companies of all sizes, but until now, there's been no system of record for product teams. Thanks to Productboard, organizations of all sizes, from startups to Fortune 500s, can build exceptional digital products that address customer needs while enabling them to outperform the competition.”
We are also delighted to announce the addition of two new executives, whose experience reflects our continued growth and maturity: James Lee, Vice President of Finance & Operations, and Tapan Bhatt, Chief Marketing Officer.
James joins from GitHub, where he scaled the team from Series B to Microsoft’s acquisition, and previously held leadership roles at Accel-KKR and J.P. Morgan.
Tapan led PagerDuty and Splunk through successful IPOs and previously held positions at Siebel Systems (acquired by Oracle).
Finally, we are excited unveil our refreshed brand, featuring a rethinking of our logo, logotype, and visual style. Our fresh new look aims to be timeless, simple, trustworthy, and beautiful, with the new logo representing directionality and progress in the product journey.
