Private enterprise tech companies are driving business growth and innovation globally, but unlike public companies or their B2C counterparts, it can be difficult to tell which have real momentum and business potential.

What if enterprise technology had something like a coaches poll in collegiate sports, but where the most respected venture capitalists submitted their top picks for the most promising startups? That’s the premise of the annual Enterprise Tech 30, a set of three lists featuring the top 10 early-, mid-, and late-stage enterprise tech startups.

We’re thrilled to announce productboard has been recognized on this year’s list of top early-stage startups!

“In this era of rapid innovation, heightened competition and customer expectations, every organization is scrambling to systematize the product processes that help them get the right products to market, faster. That’s why companies like Microsoft, Zendesk, and UiPath have adopted productboard as their dedicated product management system,” said Hubert Palan, productboard CEO. “It’s an honor to be recognized on the Enterprise Tech 30 alongside so many organizations we look up to, including our customers FortressIQ, Benchling, Ironclad, Carta, and Domino Data Lab.”

Our excitement stems in no small part from the caliber of those involved in the selection process — some of the world’s best at tracking market trends and identifying the startups driving them. This year’s invite-only voters included 96 investment partners at 72 of the most renowned venture capital firms. Together, these firms have invested in 86% of the 178 enterprise tech unicorns (with exits or financing >$1B since 2016)!  Objectivity and neutrality are ensured through controls implemented throughout the selection process.

productboard’s inclusion in this year’s list is remarkable validation of the growing category of dedicated product management systems as well as productboard’s leadership in this space. As product management rises in stature within the organization… as every company becomes a digital product company… as customer expectations continue to rise… as the pace of innovation accelerates… it’s never been more important to put modern systems in place to help your organization practice Product Excellence!
