Productboard and Slalom surveyed over 400 product managers in January 2021 to determine “What did product teams learn in 2020 from the shift to remote collaboration?” We got insights from global PMs – 62% from the US, 28% from EMEA and 10% from the rest of the world. They shared their perspective on a range of key topics: how they responded to the Pandemic, defining the impact on roadmap planning, exploring the rise of Product ops, investigating how remote work altered ongoing investments related to Discovery and Delivery work, new tools that were adopted and how work changed day to day and week to week. We also got some great tips when we asked, “What did you wish you knew in March 2020 about the shift to Remote work?”

Join Productboard and Slalom to hear the highlights of the research and break out to connect and share with peers on what your product org learned in 2020 and how you have adjusted to the “new normal.”

The event structure:

  • Sameer Karim, Slalom’s lead on the Product & Innovation practice, will share the key learnings and takeaways from the survey for approximately 15 minutes.
  • Break into small groups (6 – 10 people) to discuss and share how the shift to remote collaboration impacted your product organization.
  • Regroup for a final summary of the discussion.
